Role Monitoring & compliance lead for EAI Services & BPM Micro Apps Job Level/ Designation M2/Assistant General Manager(AGM) Function / Department Information Technology – Solution Delivery Location Pune IT Hub – HJW Job Purpose The person is expected to Manage EAI & BPM stack from both monitoring and compliance perspective. The role involves Coordination with outsourcing partners on a 24×7 basis to ensure that trouble spots are identified in a proactive manner & addressed thereby avoiding business impact Ensure all deliveries into production environment follow the DevOps, Security, Capacity tenets as applicable to EAI & BPM As part of the EAI & BPM stack, expectation is to maintain business continuity of APIs and Micro applications used by ~120 applications by being in constant contact with operational SPOCs of these applications spread over the entire VIL Technology ecosystem and external partners Key Result Areas/Accountabilities Monitoring management Oversee day to day monitoring EAI services and BPM micro applications in VIL e.g. Alert generation, resolution with SNOC/ NetCool teams etc. Proactively sense and take preventive actions on potential issues surrounding BPM & needs to inform the IT and other business function stakeholders in case of any issues like CS/MKTG/Retail/RA, War Room, Dev team for L3/Projects/Deployment issues etc. Ensure that transaction level monitoring of all the EAI & BPM services (~800 APIs and ~30 micro applications) is done by the outsourced partner in the prescribed manner along with application and governance reports upkeep Compliance management SLA adherence of the EAI & BPM offerings is the primary result area wherein prime responsibility is the highlight improvement areas and then fix it along with the vendor partners Proactive Capacity planning and ensuring that no single point of failure exists or is vulnerable Managing the inventory including certificates, patch compliance of all the EAI & BPM servers, highlighting End of Life and End of service setup Ensuring that EAI & BPM operations are always in compliance with security guidelines & that audit/Compliance observations are being addressed in time bound manner Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience Experience in SLA Governance, implementation of effective change control & Continuous systems improvement Aware of monitoring tools like IBM APM, Log Analytics, HP APM and has working relationship with SNOC Knowledge of VIL EAI suite is an added advantage and has to have worked with the VIL EAI & BPM team regularly even though as external application(s) Needs to know ITIL processes and is aware of operational connotations like the show must not stop, 5 Whys etc. Stakeholder Management: Conflict Management, Cross domain interaction for requirement gathering, issue closure 5- 7 Years of experience of IT application operations Management Expertise in deployment, capacity and vendor management Must have technical / professional qualifications B.E /B. Tech Management Degree will be added advantage ITIL certified Years of Experience 5-7 years of experience Industries to look from IT Services / Telecom/ Banking Ideal Organizations to look from IBM/TCS/Infosys/TechMahindra/HSBC/Barclays/Airtel/Cognizant/CapGemini/Accenture Direct reports None
