Qualifications: Our most successful candidates will have: Post-secondary education in a Technology-related discipline 3+ years of support-related experience dealing with customers in a technical support environment Advanced level knowledge and hands-on experience with the following: Windows 2008/2012 Server, Windows XP/7, ActiveSync, Lotus Domino Server and/or Microsoft Exchange Server 07/10/13, Microsoft Office 365 and/or Novell GroupWise, Lotus Notes Client and/or Microsoft Outlook, Apple OS/X environment, Apple sync services, Android/iOS device support Expert Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, Network Connectivity, OSI, LAN/WAN MS Administration experience Firewalls and Security Demonstrated professionalism with a true passion for customer service – able to empathize with concerned customers Minimum Home Office Requirements: Computer 2.0 Ghz Dual Core or better processor 2 GB RAM (some employment opportunities require a minimum of 4 GB RAM) 10 GB available hard drive space Sound card Windows 7, including Windows 8 and 8.1 (Note: some employment opportunities are available for consultants with only Windows Vista installed) Headset USB Dual ear (designed to minimize audio interference from outside sources) Noise cancelling microphone Internet Minimum Internet speeds of 1 Mbps upload and 15 Mbps download.
