Who we are looking for: Individual to lead and coordinate the review of documentation and non-documentation markets to open securities accounts for clients, onboard new business into State Street, Closing of accounts, Amendments and management of the renewal process in markets where investment licenses expire and require documentation for renewal. What you will be responsible for: Good understanding of Global Custody and Securities account opening Good understanding of Omnibus account structure, and individual account opening at global securities market Extensive processing knowledge of non-documentation markets Extensive processing knowledge on client profiling, add markets and GTT rates In depth knowledge on account opening, maintenance, closure, and conversion process Experience in MT599 free format swifts Lead and participate in discussions with process and control owners to assess inherent risks, identify controls and control gaps, by conducting walkthroughs Understanding of State Street internal Omni Structure Differentiation between Documentation and Non Documentation markets Bridge the gap between with Client service teams, account opening and local sub custodian banks to facilitate client account openings, closings, conversions, renewals and amendment requests smoothly Participate in sub custodian/ management calls as required Manage client escalations and be able to provide appropriate response in timely manner Exercise discretion and judgment with respect to matters of significance, such as resolving issues/breaches Guide, coach and develop staff/ team members. Provide timely and effective feedback to the team members Work with sub custodians to be able to manage multiple expectations of stake holders Possess excellent negotiation skills to be able to work with the sub custodians during stringent timelines or when exceptions are required Engage the team actively in team activities, knowledge shares session. Ensure high levels of service are maintained Recognize and appreciate team members who go above and in their daily course of work Encourage participation of team members in projects and continuous improvement ideas and department/ organization wide initiatives Provide support during US market hours, flexible to work in Night Shift What we value: : Good knowledge of securities account opening in Global Markets Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills Ability to analyze client/ CST requirements and work proactively to resolve their queries Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal planning, and analytical skills Shit Timing : 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST/ 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM IST Work Location : Bangalore Education & Preferred Qualifications: University degree in Business majoring in Accounting, Finance, or other Financial-related programs Hands on experience on Global Markets account opening will be an added advantage.
