Divisional Overview: The Operations division provides the support and control infrastructure that enables the Firm to develop and deliver financial products throughout the world. Working with the Sales, Trading and Information Technology Divisions, Operations professionals are responsible for the management and execution of transactions in a manner which maximizes profitability and minimizes risk. Our division is responsible for the management and execution of millions of securities transactions on a daily basis. Our responsibilities include trade processing, confirmation, settlement, fails management, margin, asset servicing, risk management and various client services. In partnership with sales, trading, prime services, information technology and other teams from across the bank, we apply a continual focus on improving productivity and efficiency, while seeking new and innovative ways to support our clients’ changing needs. Business Unit Overview: Network Management (NetMan) is responsible for appointing and monitoring the performance of network of clearing agents and utilities in Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa, U.S.A & Japan. NetMan interfaces both with the front office, when new products come on line requiring new services and other support and control areas (principally Operations).The department covers the requirements for all products traded by in all markets covered by the four regions. There is also a strong control function within the team as Network Management is also responsible for opening and closing of external agent bank accounts and negotiating the associated documentation with legal and compliance teams.
