The Chief Operating Officer role for India has oversight over the management of approximately 4500 operations staff supporting Global Delivery Operations Leadership, development and maintenance of all Global Delivery activities to the standards agreed with customers, procedures and policies. Development, maintenance and execution of resource plans to align budget, business opportunities, expense management initiatives and global and regional operational alignment. Partner with Product owners, Process owners, and other global stakeholders on the alignment and execution of all activities administered in the site. Ensure satisfactory service delivery to all Service Recipients and other internal stakeholders. Ensure regular forums exist to manage, monitor and report SLA/KPI performance against agreed global outsourcing standards. Active participation with Client Management and Product Management in setting, reviewing and aligning fund operations deliveries to customer requirements without compromising internal standards. Planning and execution of initiatives to create efficient and robust operating models for Global Delivery activities. Alignment to regional and global operating model initiatives. Develop in depth knowledge and understanding of State Street Global Delivery and services create strategic alignment of State Street’s product catalogue with Clients business strategy/direction. Manage, motivate, develop and retain a team, which delivers exceptional service and quality to clients and staff. People Providing strong leadership as a member of the executive team across multiple disciplines and with senior management in other business areas/locations and with vendors. Lead in the continuous improvement in staff engagement, development and planning. Attract, retain and develop a high performing and diverse workforce. Balance the need to import talent with the objective of developing local leadership. Financial Provide leadership and accountability in the ongoing pursuit of scale generation and capacity creation via process re-engineering, client optimization strategies, productivity efforts via engaging with Product and Process Owners, Client Coverage organization to identify opportunities and execute on realization Accountability for general management of all expenses, budgets and forecasts for areas of direct responsibility.
