The CIB CDO Data Privacy Team was initially set up in 2018 and expanded globally in 2019 in order for the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) to meet the rapidly changing demands of the Privacy Policy Firmwide. From December 2019, the CIB CDO Data Privacy Team took responsibility for the global Data Incident Management process. This open role is within the CIB Privacy Team and will focus on Incident Response Team (IRT) responsibilities as well as supporting strategic programs of work (emerging regulatory change associated with Privacy). You will have the opportunity to routinely face-off to senior members within the team as well as CIB preparing materials for senior forums including the CIB Data Privacy Forum, BCCs and BCFs. Given the small of the team ( 15 globally), fluid communication is required across all grades with global teams. The pace of change drives the need to continually enhance day to day BAU and to create time to contribute to global programs. Role Responsibilities in Data Privacy: Lead on the execution of IRT BAU responsibilities and assist with global Privacy programs (focused on policy implementation, regulatory changes an risk minimization) including: High quality program management practices and governance Materials and active participation in privacy committees, working groups and forums Process improvement, streamlining current processes and creating efficiencies Program / project plans, risk, issues and dependencies Program communications, both internal and external Publish metrics and reporting to monitor and manage Data Privacy Business analysis, as required to facilitate change and general program management Incident Management – working with regional Data Privacy Champions to administer all aspects of the process, including recording in GLASS (SoR), Quality Control over the content, and data analysis Focus on evaluating and performing an end-to-end analysis of the business’ risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses and determine root cause of control breaks Ensure that controls are properly designed, operating effectively, and essential to a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols Develop a deep understanding of regional Privacy legislation, internal privacy and confidentiality policies and their application to the business Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required Desirable: 5-7 years of experience in financial services industry with potential background in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or compliance preferred or equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business related function/operation Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) required and data analytics preferred using Excel, Access Skills Key requirement .
