Bachelors/Masters in Civil Engineering with 2-4 years of industry experience.
he Civil Structural Engineer need to possess the following set of skills:
Conversant with analysis & design of various steel and concrete structures using Indian, American, Australian, European, TIA-222G&H codes and standards
Providing Strengthening solutions (super structure and substructure) and detailed development drawings in AutoCAD
Expert knowledge in using any of the structural analysis tools like STAAD/GTStrudl/RISA-3D/Multiframes/Staad V8i/Matrix/MS Tower/Tnx Tower/MS Pole
Should be very strong in AutoCAD
Proficient in Mathcad and MS Excel to perform quick technical hand calculations
Experience in New, Brownfield, Mining, Oil & gas, Power and Industrial projects will be preferred
Must have knowledge of 3D model review software like Navis Works
Good communication, interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and company standard practices
Capable of working on several projects at the same time, with projects at different stages
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide conceptual and detailed structural design for various steel and concrete structures on new and brownfield projects including Lattices tower, Monopoles, Guy Mast, Roof tops structures & Foundation design checks
Perform static and dynamic analysis of structures and foundations
Perform quick technical hand calculations and deliver engineering sketches
Prepare and review civil structural specifications
Perform analysis and design of structures using structural analysis tools like STAAD Pro/GTSTtrudl/RISA-3D/ MultiFrames/Matrix/MS Tower/Tnx Tower/ MS Pole
Perform hand calculations using Mathcad and MS Excel
Solve technical problems and guide draughtsman
Create detailed drawing in AutoCAD
Review designs, drawings, and 3D models to ensure accuracy and conformance with applicable codes and standards prior to submission for customers review
Inspect existing structures and prepare technical condition assessment reports providing Strengthening solutions and create detailed development drawings
Provide construction engineering support
Ensure that engineering designs are delivered on schedule and within approved budget
Prepare Material take offs and preliminary cost estimates
Work with multi-discipline teams and coordinate civil structural scope within the project
Review contract and bid documents
Coordinate with client and vendors to successfully deliver each project
Preparing, verifying, and reviewing engineering calculation reports
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Mentor juniors for high quality job on time
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and company standard practices
Willing to work in shifts
Skills & Experience Autodesk AutoCAD, ETABS, GT STRUDL, MS Tower, PLS tower, RAM Structural System, RISA-3D, SAP2000, Staad Pro
