Principal responsibilities

  • Corporate Functions Procurement IT Department is in need of an offshore IT Project Manager/Business Analyst
  • HSBC manage a number of procurement upstream systems from contracts, supplier risk management and P2P
  • The portfolio is further complemented by smaller systems that have global exposure
  • The supporting Project Manager is expected to have an understanding of Procurement technologies and processes
  • Background with an IT Project Management and Business Analysis skillset is essential
  • Business stakeholders are generally UK based and this role is needed to help understand demand, translate to IT needs, manage end to end delivery with internal IT teams, supporting vendor partners where needed

Any College Degree is acceptable.



  • Minimum 3 years experience in project management (Business or IT)
  • Desirable Agile, ITIL, project management and business analyst qualifications
  • A firm SDLC understanding supported by excellent project management skillset
  • Able to perform high level business analysis function where required
  • Excellent communication skills as leading stakeholder workshops and meetings will be mandatory
  • Ability to translate demand to informed packs and able communicate/present strongly to extended stakeholders across business and IT
  • Ability to embed IT controls, practices and embed them into plans and action where necessary
  • Understanding on Agile ways of workings and escalating to the Procurement IT Valuestream lead where needed
  • Core understanding of Agile Methodology and Change Management processes
  • Be portable across other Procurement Technology as and when needed
