Deputy Manager – Bids 50 views

Job Description

You are part of business development teams and responsible for bidding related activities.

You Will:

  • Single point of contact (SPOC) for activities related to bids and pursuits.
  • Have broad understanding of Technology services around OSS services, SDN/NFV, Network Testing and Security.
  • Engage with sales teams to support the proposal management for several inquiries.
  • Coordinate with the offshore team to develop, review the proposal responses.
  • Handle customer engagement activities such as technical discussions through technical teams, query / answers, requirement gathering and need assessments.
  • Work with Our customers, delivery and bid teams for responding to global proposals including RFI, RFQ & RFP, Statement of Capabilities (SoC) and presentations.
  • Propose creative methodologies for process improvement, technical enhancements and cost savings as part of the proposal management.
  • Support sales and delivery teams to negotiate with clients during all the phases of pre-contract signing till contract closure.
  • Extend support to Marketing and Sales teams in preparation of Go-to-Market plans, collaterals and other relevant marketing materials.
  • Create, proof reading, correcting and dispatching quality bid responses within agreed deadlines.
  • Ensure bids are complete in all respects, audited and approved.
  • Prepare pre and post bid submission presentations.
  • Manage virtual teams and collect input from several partners (Sales/ Marketing/Finance legal).
  • You Will report to Hiring Manager.

You’ll Need:

  • 6 or more years in proposal writing, bid coordinating role, within the IT solutions industry. Work experience in Telecommunications domain is preferred.
  • Have a working knowledge in Visio, Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Project Plan and PowerPoint.
  • Should Multi tasking or Prioritise and work with teams.
  • Can obtain commercials for specified services environment.
  • Can handle all client visits and coordinate client interaction activities.
  • Have writing / editing skills, and follow the brand compliance.
  • Will handle large bids and manage bids end-to-end.
  • Degree in any discipline or higher education from an internationally recognised institution.
  • Post Graduate in Business Administration in a reputed institution with a specialisation in Marketing & Finance. APMP certification would be preferable.
