Complementary Health screening for 35 yrs. and above Position Description Definition and responsibilities: The IT Application Owner (ITAO) has sound IT risk management skills. They follow one of a number of possible service delivery approaches, acknowledge interference with the IT application’s life cycle and assist with incorporating the adopted approach into best practice. The ITAO is aware of the gap in the current infrastructure solutions and where industry innovations are along the maturity lifecycle. They work with application stakeholders to improve the infrastructure, ensuring compliance with the technical roadmap. The ITAO has a sound knowledge of development methodologies and the IT policies necessary to perform effectively in the organisation, aligned to the bank’s appetite for risk. They act to improve safety and security of the application, compliance with regulations, policies and standards, enhance operational readiness, and ease maintenance of the environment for delivering change into production. The ITAO supports the bank’s audit function in the remediation of audit points and self-identified issues in order to reduce risk. They are responsible for producing and maintaining accurate documentation on compliance with methodologies, IT policies and IT security requirements. The ITAO interacts with and influences colleagues on the governance of IT platform reliability and resilience. Task breakdown: Perform application management and governance tasks Oversee the applications under management Perform the application lifecycle management and the strategic application planning. . Initiate and manage technical projects to maintain the existing services and services levels. Ensure the application compliance with Deutsche Bank policies over the term. Manage software licenses and vendor contracts nsure the availability of the application documentation over the term. Manage the costs of the application management tasks andactivities. Support application software projects. Ensure the smooth transition of the applications into production. Release Management Capacity Management Service Management Mid Range Servers General skills: Undergraduate Degree from an university (or equivalent diploma / work experience) Relevant years of professional experience as application owner, solution architect or technical specialist. Broad and profound understanding of current tier 2 or 3 architectures (Frontend, Middleware, Backend) as well as the fundamental principles of software interfaces. Hands on experience in core tools and processes like HP ALM,JIRA,SNOW. Domain specific skills: Desirable are one or more of the following subject areas: Expertise in banking domain . Excellent knowledge of the following technolgies are needed: Mainframe (Must have) UNIX Shell Scripting Good to have Oracle Cloud dWeb PHP DevOps CI/CD People skills: Customer and service orientation to support communication with team resources and customers Performance and productivity orientation to promote high-quality results Profound analytical problem solving abilities Demonstrates personal support to the achievement and maintenance of a high performance culture in which people management and development is a key priority Demonstrates personal commitment to support colleagues within the team Demonstrates personal commitment to the Bank’s values.
