Job summary
We are looking for an experienced creative visionary and strategist to join the team as Head – Creative Services, responsible for the strategic and creative development of Prime Video marketing campaigns to bolster acquisition, engagement and brand development outcomes. Head – Creative Services is the creative leader of the Prime Video India Org. S/he is the custodian and creative owner in all aspects – India and International Originals, PV brand/service marketing campaigns, and creative leader for Prime Video Marketplace (Channels/Rentals) offerings. This role is indexes heavily on building strategic creative communication, collaborating heavily with internal and external stakeholders and building a campaign that creates maximum impact for our customers. S/he will have creative directors and creative producers/AV producers reporting to her/him and will be expected to work with a whole array of specialized agencies/production houses to build campaigns. This would mean understanding the marketing brief from content and business teams and evolving the core creative campaign strategy and bringing that project to life. S/He will be managing all aspects of a campaign from concept through final delivery, ensuring that all elements conform to the title being marketed and/or business objectives while maintaining the highest standards of ‘pixel perfection’. S/he will get to work with the best of talent, top creators, actors and get an opportunity to directly pitch their ideas and collaborate. While this role wouldn’t hinge on crunching large volumes of data, the Head – Creative Services will be expected to parse relevant insights from information/data and use that to better our go-to-market efforts. This role is based in our Mumbai office, and will be interacting very closely with global creative teams across the world.

Key job responsibilities

  • Inspire and develop a team of Creative Directors, Art Directors, Editors, Producers, Writers, Designers to produce innovative and conversation sparking, best in class work, maintaining a ruthless pursuit of work that truly stands out in a crowed marketplace.
  • Direct and design artful and engaging advertising creative campaigns and moments in support of marketing initiatives across every touchpoint our customers might encounter (video, digital, social media, print, merchandising, out-of-home and more)
  • Work with creative strategists and marketers to develop inspiring briefs and bring the vision on the page to life
  • Create on-brand creative solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements
  • Constantly drive ideals and work that support and reinforce Prime Video’s vision, brand, and business objectives across all platforms
  • Use Amazon’s Day One thinking to consistently develop and deliver first-of-its-kind creative for each and every campaign

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal with stakeholders
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Experience managing teams
  • Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion
  • 7+ years of marketing experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience developing richly defined 360° creative campaigns that have proven to deliver
  • Exceptional ability to think big and drive innovation while maintaining attention to detail
  • End-to-end ownership of major project deliverables
  • Self-starter who is a customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic team player
  • Strong communication skills outlining plans and ideas, in written and verbal format.
  • Strong relationship building with internal stakeholders and external agencies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Min. 16 years of experience in creative fields
  • Experience managing outsourced work with agencies.
  • Experience working on global brands with work spanning multiple geographic regions.
