Core responsibilities include:

  • Payroll Management and Benefits administration to include new hire, termination, life events, and annual open enrollments
  • Data Management in HR, Payroll, Time, Benefits, and related systems
  • Payroll preparation, processing, finalization, and auditing each payroll
  • Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Audits
  • Compliance reporting includes: Worker’s Compensation audit, ​Statutory audits, ​benefits audits, and other reporting as defined by law
  • Accurate taxation for payroll with consideration for pre-and post-tax benefit deductions
  • ​Monthly and Annual tax filing coordination with third-party vendors in collaboration with the Finance team​
  • Effective communicate with employees, vendors, and other partners in an accurate and timely manner
  • Process Improvements, Data Integrity, Reporting & Issue Resolution​
  • Personnel file management. ​ ​

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Managing employee taxation, retirement benefits programs, timely Government remittances, enrollment and termination of benefits
  • Supports the organization’s payroll, benefits, compliance and reporting with responsibilities for time and attendance, payroll, and related tax maintenance
  • Audits and Regulatory / Statutory compliances
  • Maintain, prepare, and validate data​​ used for audits, compliance reporting (i.e. worker’s compensation, benefits, and payroll audits)
  • Support ​India employees with queries relating to time-off, benefits and payroll​
  • Support Annul Merit and Variable bonus calculations, letters, payouts etc
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors as required to accurately support data alignment between all HRBPs and Payroll vendor
  • Complete the annual compliance filings for ​Equifax India in collaboration with internal teams and consultants. ​The responsibility includes​ data validation, preparation, and execution in conjunction with third-party vendors.
  • Additional responsibilities may include supporting requests from the Finance team on headcount, payroll activity for general ledger and tax reporting

Experience Required: ​

  • 5+ years of Payroll and Compliance Management and minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources and/or related field of study
  • Technical aptitude and knowledge of HCM/HRIS systems, preferably Workday
  • ​Additionally should have worked in Google environment
  • Desirable: Excellent logical and analytical capabilities and attention to details. Demonstrated reliability, excellent time-management and problem solving skills. ​ Works well under pressure of deadlines Agreeable demeanor while dealing with stakeholders
