What you will learn and contribute to

This Job Role is responsible for the coordination, management and execution of proactive and reactive maintenance activities that require a high level of support. This shall ensure that the services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels and serving the customer independently directly or through customer interface.

The position is assigned to work with troubleshooting/configuration of Core network (2G/3G/4G/5G). Act on network and relevant equipment problems escalated from the surveillance function. It is the responsibility of the Engineer to solve and correct service and network problems according to agreed timing and standard set, to detect and highlight network deficiencies and to some extent predict future degradations.

The critical role requires in-depth understanding of the roaming call flow and various configuration changes required to allow / block roaming towards various operators and Carrier partners. Quick troubleshooting of customer complaints involving multi-vendor nodes and domains.

Additionally, good hands on in automation of operations and reporting activities
Experience: 3 to 5 years with bachelor’s degree
Requirements:

  • Preferably hands on experience on multivendor Performance Management Reporting & tools (Nokia Netact, E/// BO, ENIQ, M2000, Netnumen)
  • Designing templates/queries to fetch raw data from OSS as required
  • Good knowledge in network performance KPIs of Core, Cloud Core, IMS, VoLTE, VoBB, VoWiFi and Radio (2G , 3G & 4G technologies) for multivendor.
  • Excellent Knowledge of Cloud core and VoLTE KPIs and reports
  • KPI monitoring and escalation including first hand analysis on KPI trending
  • Comparing and checking threshold and graphical trend analysis for KPI degradation
  • Experience on developing scripts/macros/codes for automation of reports and to remove manual intervention. Reporting Tools/Database development
  • Automation and Reporting scripting (VBA, SQL, PL/SQL, .NET, BO)
  • Generation/Validation of reports so as to ensure within SLA delivery 100% accuracy
  • Responsible for Day to Day Deliveries of Performance Reports & lead day-to-day network performance issues/discussions with the customer/ concerned team
  • Audit experience of all formulas related to CS/Cloud core/VoLTE/STP KPIs
  • Good knowledge of network elements measurements, counters and formulas related to network performance KPIs for Nokia Core and IMS Cloud
  • Good knowledge in IT skills: MS Access, EXCEL, MACRO, VBA, .NET, My SQL & Oracle
  • Must have BI tool knowledge for report automation and visualization in Power BI
  • Support on case-handling-process-adherence, SLAs tracking, KPIs management / improvement, case-escalations, corrective-actions implementations, tools trainings / issues, knowledge-management & cost-tracking for respective GDMs
  • Support PM in operational management of the customer SLA fulfilment
  • Supports the evolution/dimensioning of future capacity needs led by NPO & FM-CM
  • Prioritization of cases based on customer requirement.

Software Skills:

  • VBA Programming & Automation, Excel Macros
  • MIS, Reporting, and KPI Analysis, , Power Automate, Flow creation
  • SQL & PL/SQL Development and Database Management
  • Languages: SQL, PL\SQL, T-SQL, VBA, VB.NET, Python, JSON, HTML
  • Willing to work in dynamic hours of working (including 24×7 & night shift)
  • Good knowledge in BI Tools : Microsoft Power BI, Grafana, Tableau etc
  • Good knowledge on performance management tools (Nokia NetAct, Vmware, HW etc)
