Be accountable for automating relevant NIST controls (ex: Access Reviews) within Power conversion with minimal input from end users
Develop continuous monitoring and isolation capabilities for critical control failures, in aligned with policies from GE Corporate
Build detection capabilities within Security Information & Event Management tools based on requirements derived from various stakeholders within the enterprise.

Ensure the creation, review and maintenance of current technical documentation

Education Qualification
For roles outside USA:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.
Desired Characteristics• Team player / influencer– collaborates with others to solve problems
Understanding of public cloud offerings and associated technologies (AWS, Azure, S3, EC2, Lamba)
Experience in automating manual processes and exposure to RPAs or other alternatives
Information security background or experience with detailed understanding of APT, Cyber Crime and associated tactics.
Familiarity with common programming languages and techniques (SQL, Java, PHP, C, Python, JavaScript)
Knowledgeable about the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and its real-world applications
Strong oral and written communication skills
