Team and Position Summary:

Walmart’s Retail Operations Group resolves the Site Facing Item related issues in the item lifecycle from Setup to Go-Live stage. We deep dive into Walmart Eco System, understand the business rules, logics and the functionalities of each application and resolve a plethora of site facing issues related to Search, Item Page, Checkout, Pricing and more. We enhance the Merchant Experience through unified support in terms of operationalizing the Merchant Applications, providing short term and long term solutions, automating the issue reporting, 24*7 support, playbook executions for events, brand launches, campaigns and Holidays. Our work reduces merchant effort, increases merchant satisfaction, reduces Walmart operational costs.

As a Process Lead I – Retail Operations, you will resolve technical and non-technical issues faced by Retail Teams and Suppliers/Vendors from item acquisition to Go-Live. You will execute and meet deadlines and weekly targets through a keen attention to detail and clear communication with cross functional business partners. You are extremely detail oriented and organized and comfortable with change in a dynamic work environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Resolve the technical issues faced by Retail Teams and Vendors/Suppliers by liaising with Cross-Functional and Multi-Geographic teams
  • Support the Retail Teams and Vendors/Suppliers from onboarding of an item until Go-Live
  • Spot check and review peer’s work and provide qualitative feedback to attain the prescribed accuracy levels and other key metrics
  • Study operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for process and product improvements.
  • Do Root Cause Analysis on errors committed and arrive at actionable corrective measures to avoid recurrence

Position Requirements:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Any Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2 to 4 years of work experience in Retail/e-Commerce Industry
  • Effectively communicate with the stakeholders and provide timely feedbacks
  • Basic working knowledge in SQL, Excel, XML, XSD and API’s
  • Proficient in understanding of e-commerce Operations
  • Strong English comprehension and Communication skills
  • Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done on own initiative
  • Attention to detail, flexibility and highly organized
  • Exposure to US E-commerce Market is an added advantage
