Manage and oversee the design and development of software applications and direct the work of engineers to ensure the best practices around software development. True first level manager, you will ensure that the project/department milestones/goals are met while adhering to the approved budgets. Drive improvements, focused on process, technology, domain, organization and culture to support realization of high quality products/services, with high speed of innovation and with engaged employees.
You are responsible for
Own end-to-end project delivery, including Project plan, schedule, execution/monitoring working with Program Manager, Cross functional PMs/Group Leaders/Engineering managers
Responsible for ensuring highest quality of deliverables and in ensuring doing things the right way as per HI processes and getting things right the first time
Support project/ program management and lead the estimations (budget, cost estimation, schedule)
Lead interaction with stakeholders during weekly meetings and facilitate issue/ conflict resolution.
Drive issue deep dives exercises
Works with engineering managers for resource commitments & holds team accountable for quality & timely deliverables
Identify project risks & flag them upfront, control them and manage regular communication to stakeholders, ensuring thoroughness in dealing with the details
Self- driven and flexible to work beyond the call of the job
Manages communication with supplier/partners and stakeholders
Ensures project road blocks are identified upfront and flagged for any help (on need basis)
Develops then executes standard communications regarding progress, issues, risks, mitigations, budget and other project metrics
Serves as the spokesperson for his/her project teams in team, management update and design control review meetings. Will represent the teams in meetings with executive management
Leads large project teams through the preparation, presentation and archival of Design Control reviews and other project deliverables

The Solution Delivery function within the EIS is a Services Organization (formerly hosted within the Healthcare Transformation Services) and has been in existence for over 2.5 years now – offering a variety of Healthcare IT services and solutions, helping Philips Businesses, Markets and Customers in addressing their needs and challenges.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Software engineer with 12-14 years of experience in product development & product lifecycle management
Project management experience with focus on SW module development
Knowledge of Agile and SAFe ways of working
Good communication skills. Ability to present technical / complex issues to various audiences
Excellent technical writing skills
Proven technical leadership in matrix / global environment
Ability to influence peers and counterparts often in other Philips locations
Strong abstraction, analytical and problem solving skills
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience of enterprise software development, preferably using Scrum/Agile methodologies
Experience of managing an outsourced SW project, would be an added advantage
