We are looking for an ambitious research analyst who wants to leave their mark on global financial products by building high-impact client listening programs. You ll be joining a new team of researchers and client experience leaders who will help build our Digital & Data products around client insights. You will support leaders in research and client insights and help us understand our corporate and institutional clients as you transform those insights into strong business decisions. You ll be a critical player across the research & insights team as you help coordinate research studies, document findings, prepare presentations, and build our internal network. Your key activities will include:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment, designing and implementing research that effectively answers key business questions and resourcefully solving challenges as you build a new listening program for our Digital & Data teams
  • Work collaboratively with research and insights leaders, designers and product team members to identify, prioritize and conduct user research using appropriate quantitative and qualitative techniques such as pulse surveys, structured surveys, user interviews, focus groups, ethnographic research, contextual inquiry, concept testing, card sorting, listening communities and other forms of client listening
  • Represent excellence in research practices. Be a passionate advocate for and learner of well-designed research programs
  • Be diligent in follow-through and resourcefulness as we stand-up our listening program and teams rely on you to develop workflows that you ll need to build from scratch, including partnering with legal, compliance and supply-chain partners for research vendor relationships and to protect client privacy while negotiating for our business needs
  • Support the development of personas, design principles, and other research communication-frameworks to help teams regularly organize their work around the insights your programs develop
  • Partner with communications functions to disseminate findings in digestible, ongoing flows of communications (videos, audio files, emails) to internal audiences
  • Generate actionable insights that help shape product and business decisions and communicate the user insights in compelling ways through written reports and in-person presentations to stakeholders.
  • Triangulate qualitative research with inputs from Data Science, Surveys, Market Research and Secondary data
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills and the ability to quickly develop recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative evidence
  • Create methodologies that align to the needs of the organisation
  • Manage multiple workstreams with varying timelines and complexity with authority and passion
  • Be the client s voice and champion within the organisation and build customer centricity in all our product building initiatives
  • Deliver quality work with light managerial supervision

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Highly proactive, resourceful and an ambitious creative problem-solver
  • Ability and desire to keep challenging yourself and others with entrepreneurial attitude and passion for observing human behaviour, identifying team biases and surfacing these with grit
  • Understanding of psychology and behavioural science
  • Understanding for regional diversity, capacity and curiosity to learn complex corporate banking products and services
  • Experience supporting research programs, defining and measuring the business value gained with the program and presenting to stakeholders for buy-in
  • Designing and conducting generative and evaluative user research using qualitative (field observations, remote and in-person usability studies and interviews) and quantitative methods (surveys)
  • At least 4 years experience in designing and executing qualitative and quantitative research studies including moderation, analysis and final report presentation to stakeholders.
  • Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts, Business, Communications, Marketing, Human Computer Interaction, Information Design, Interaction Design, Psychology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) MBA or MA preferred
