Sales Manager Sea / Ocean (Imports and Exports) 75 views

  • The outside Sales manager will be well versed with Ocean Freight Imports and Exports.
  • The main task will be to promote our products in every form to ensure promotion and sales of our possibilities.
  • Primary responsibility is to realize sales targets and execute the sales strategy as it’s been laid out
  • Will maintain existing customer relations as well as expand our customer base with new ones, whilst keeping your customer portfolio up-to-date
  • Will visit existing and potential customers to understand their needs and built with the operational team a customized solution that perfectly fits with customers’ requirements.
  • Will secure customer-generated revenues and serve as the main entry point for ocean freight both internally and externally.
  • Sales activities will be divided between primarily outside sales (i.e. customer visits) and inside sales (i.e. acquisition by phone – both warm & cold).
  • Request to participate in the elaboration of the sales offer and discuss with the customer the terms and conditions of the contract. For that purpose, you negotiate the prices accordingly after discussing with our Directors
  • Ensure the follow-up of the sale until the payment and you may need to take part in the commercial management and settlement of claims outstanding
  • Expected to work closely with the customer service team to develop supply chain solutions
  • Expected to monitor the progress of the shipment until the final destination. You participate in the contract setting and monitor customers’ payments with the Collection Desk.
