Job Description Summary Responsible for owning the CM&U (Conversion, Modification, and Upgrade) IT partnership and RealTrack Product Manager. Accountable for planning, forecasting, and production of the end-to-end lifecycle of feature and/or projects. Positively impacts the team’s ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required. Provides ongoing process, feature and solution guidance, input, and direction to product and platform teams. This role can be performed remotely. Job Description Responsibility and Experience Level Responsible for coordinating multiple interdependent requests and delivery of features. IT Leader driving critical outcomes and solutions across Service Operations – CM&U: Product Owner driving significant value across project management and finance capability. Partner across ERP+ organizations to deliver outcomes to drive process simplification and address systems obsolescence. Lead development team(s) to design, develop, test, and implement leveraging agile methodologies. Identify deficiencies in critical processes -replace with contemporary solutions (RPA, Data Science, new technologies) Familiarity with iterative software implementation approaches (SAFe, Agile, XP). Knowledge of relevant areas such as caching, APIs, data transfer, scalability, and security Proficiency in tools supporting SDLC (Rally, Jira). Experience in ERP is a plus (Oracle, SAP). Expected minimum experience to demonstrate competency of 7 years with minimum of 10 years overall experience with skills being recognized and leverage as an expert inside GE. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation. Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work. Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering. Assesses quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and can construct and provide recommendations. Sets/changes direction at the enterprise level by building and using direct and indirect support for ideas. Coordinates a portfolio of products that comprise an enterprise application or application suite. Builds an appropriate enterprise-wide product roadmap and identifies stakeholders necessary to support it. Partners with key stakeholders to align IT and customer strategies with respect to the features and functions of the product and the timing of their release to market. Sets the standards appropriate to the product at any appropriate level including product versioning, integration technologies, development methodologies, deployment platforms, data storage, etc. Leverages deep technology, process, and domain expertise to influence the design of the product whether it be internally or externally developed and marketed.
