Job Description Job Description Have to train associates on stress analysis of gas turbine engine components to improve their proficiency. Assess associates on the skill gaps and train them for gap closure so that they can work with minimal guidance Develop training framework, training material and assessment framework. Provide technical guidance to PW and IHI Structures team Develop standard works for the new processes Develop deep expertise in PW and IHI teams in domain/discipline Give technical talks for associates Mandatory skills: Minimum 18 years of experience in Stress analysis of Aero engine components (Rotors, Cases, Stators and Externals) using commercial Finite Element Analysis tool. Expertise in handling various structural analysis tools preferably ANSYS Classic, Ansys Workbench, Hypermesh etc Linear and non-linear static stress analysis (Geometric, Material and contact Linearity) using ANSYS-APDL or Workbench Modal, Harmonic and transient Dynamic stress analysis using ANSYS-APDL or Workbench Strength, stability and Durability of components Damage tolerance analysis to estimate fracture life Knowledge of Hand Calculations, Standards and Design codes is an added advantage Skills & Experience ANSYS Finite Element Analysis, ANSYS Mechanical Cyient is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
