Job Description : Business Overview: Providing timely and effective test planning, development and execution to support release of quality products into production. Enabling suppliers and ODM partners with Validation best practices. Developing and deploying a sustainable validation process for key technologies. Customer Validation Environments -Understood knowledge of our customer environments, workloads, deployment architectures and usage models. Collaboration with Development – To Implement Defect Detection & Prevention Methods. Industry Leading Efficiency – Scope, People, Lab. Standardized Test Practices and Measures – Through the use of industry TMMi L3 processes. Mature Automation Strategy – Automation Anytime, Anywhere, by Anyone . Advanced Test Engineering – Simulation & statistical analysis. Qualification 9 ~12+ Yrs of industry testing experience in Server, Software / System Mgmt Testing domain, Software Development or a related field. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field. Previous experience as a Test Automation Engineer & Technologist. Strong in testing concepts. Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such Python, Java, Ruby etc.. Excellent problem-solving skills and Highly accurate and detail-oriented. Requirements: Test Engineer & Automation Responsibilities: Designing and developing test cases and automation scripts. Researching issues in software through testing. Collaborating with Software Developers for issue triaging and debugging. Good technical knowledge in the area of servers and systems management. Keeping updated with the latest industry developments on systems management. Developing Test strategy & Planning. Plan and estimate their work as well as for other team members Estimating, prioritizing, planning and execute quality testing activities. Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes Strong Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases Hands-on experience with functional & Non-functional testing testing tools Experience working in an Agile/waterfall development process Thorough Understanding of Software Development Life Cycles Working knowledge on Automation area – it terms on providing feedback for better automatability, Test case design, Defining Automation efforts priority. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team Able to communicate with international teams and interfaces outside of local site Responsibilities Deliver Projects by performing effective and efficient test planning. Developing Test and Automation strategy for given requirements. Ability to define and develop automation framework. Defines and implements new test methodologies to reduce test time and increase test coverage Implements a continuous improvement process for test plans, test cases, and automation during and after test projects Mentors new engineers in the test group Evaluates effectiveness of test plan during and after test projects Evaluates test methodologies to reduce test time and increase test coverage Communicates with and directs test technicians in the execution of test plan.
